What can you expect?
Step 1: Register as a volunteer
Create an account and register yourself as a candidate volunteer with Johnson & Johnson CPU. Fill in your personal information accurately and answer the medical questionnaire. This way, you will be included in our database of test subjects, and we will keep you informed about new studies that match your profile. If you prefer paper registration, we can send an information package by mail upon request.
Step 2: Sign up for a study
Have you seen a clinical trial that you would like to participate in? Great! Once you are registered on our website, you can easily sign up for the study. Always read the conditions thoroughly and check your schedule to see if you are available for the specified periods. Your registration is always non-binding and shows your interest in a study.
Step 3: Phone call
Once your registration has been processed by the recruitment team, a staff member will contact you to explain the study further. Together, we will review the study timeline and discuss the eligibility criteria. If there are no more questions and the conversation goes positively, we will schedule an appointment for a screening at our facility.
Step 4: Screening
We are pleased to welcome you to our unit in Merksem. During the screening, you will review the consent forms with the doctor. These contain complete information about the study, the timeline, possible risks, benefits and drawbacks, the compensation you will receive, etc. Only when everything is clear to you, will you and the doctor sign the documents. We will also verify whether you meet the conditions of the study protocol, followed by medical checks, such as blood pressure, urine test, weight, etc.
You can read about all the following steps in the process on the study pages. Were you selected to participate in the study? Then we gladly welcome you to our research centre. In exchange for your contribution to drug development, you will receive compensation.

You are essential!
Just like endorphins for happiness. Without you, no cure. Help us develop better and new medicines: become a volunteer and receive compensation.
