The Clinical Pharmacology Unit (CPU) is a department of the pharmaceutical company Johnson & Johnson. This unit is located at the Jan Palfijn Hospital in Merksem and is responsible for conducting clinical drug research with healthy participants. CPU is the only clinical research centre within Johnson & Johnson worldwide. At J&J Belgium, there are more than 5,000 employees across sites in Beerse, Geel, Olen, Mechelen, La Louvière, Diegem, Ghent, and Merksem.
